Douglas Blecki is a Partner and the Director of East Coast Operations at Silverman Theologou. His role primarily focuses on guiding our credit union clients through the complexities of commercial and consumer debt negotiation, litigation and resolution. With his deep understanding of bankruptcy matters, Mr. Blecki is instrumental in assisting clients with various transactional issues, including contract drafting, review, business formation and ongoing business maintenance.

Before his tenure at Silverman Theologou LLP, Mr. Blecki honed his skills at Dunlap Bennett & Ludwig PLLC, specializing in transactional law, intellectual property (copyright and trademark), and commercial litigation. He supported small to medium-sized businesses in corporate formation, dissolution, asset transfer and general legal advisories.

Originally from South Florida, Mr. Blecki earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Florida State University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law. His early career included clerkships with the Honorable Crystal Dixon Mittelstaedt in Prince George’s County, MD, and the United States Department of Justice.

Mr. Blecki is admitted to practice in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Florida, as well as in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia.
