Mr. London is a Partner at Silverman Theologou LLP and has dedicated his legal career primarily to creditors’ rights and bankruptcy law. He represents creditors and financial institutions in matters involving commercial and consumer collections, bankruptcy proceedings, and related litigation.

Prior to joining Silverman Theologou LLP, Mr. London founded and managed Richard D. London & Associates in Silver Spring, Maryland, where he concentrated his practice on creditors’ rights and bankruptcy matters. Over the course of his career, Mr. London has developed extensive experience representing creditors and navigating complex bankruptcy proceedings.

Mr. London is actively involved in numerous professional organizations and has served in several leadership roles within the legal community. He currently serves as Co-Chair of the Montgomery County District Court Bench/Bar Committee and Co-Chair of the Prince George’s County Bar Association Annual Bench Bar Memorial Program. He is also a past Chair of the Maryland State Bar Association’s Consumer Bankruptcy Section and recipient of the Alan J. Belsky Award, the Section’s highest honor.

A frequent speaker and author on creditors’ rights and bankruptcy issues, Mr. London has presented at conferences and seminars hosted by state and national bar associations and has published several articles addressing developments in bankruptcy law.

Mr. London is admitted to practice law in Maryland and the District of Columbia and before the state and federal courts of Maryland and the District of Columbia. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, his Juris Doctor from the Washington College of Law at American University, and his Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Georgetown University Law Center. He has also earned an AV Preeminent® rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
